Bodegas Baron was founded in 1895 by Manuel Baron Fernandez, who acquired old soleras from Anselmo Paz, an almacenista in Sanlucar de Barrameda. Manuel's wife had an older sherry lineage, so Baron's roots stretch back almost 400 years.
