San Miguel is Spain's biggest export beer brand. It was first brewed in the Lleida brewery in Spain in 1957 and is brewed using a special mashing process which gives the beer a fuller and slightly sweeter flavour.

Our journey begins in Manila in 1890, then Spain's Philippine capital - a hub of ideas and global trade. Beer was little known, so our founders sourced the finest ingredients, brought in a top German brewmaster, and began on San Miguel's feast day.
