This ale is named both for the Maris Otter barley malt integral to its recipe and an otter residing near the brewery's beer garden. Presenting a complex flavor profile achieved by blending five different malts with three New World hop varieties.

We brew all our beer in York, some in our original city centre brewhouse, and now a lot of the beer is brewed up the road in Osbaldwick. Our approach to brewing has always been to produce beers which we would love to drink in can, keg and cask.
