Aperol was developed in 1919 by the Barbieri brothers, from Padua, Italy. As specialists in liqueur production since 1880, Aperol was launched with the revolutionary idea of creating the lightest of liqueurs and an aperitif with an alcohol content of only 11%. Aperol is an infusion of fruits with herbs and roots in a perfectly balanced combination. Vibrant orange in colour.
Created in 1919 by the Barbieri brothers, Luigi and Silvio, in the liqueur company of their father, Aperol is an aperitivo made from seven years of experimentation.
