Situated in Princetown in the heart of Dartmoor, at 1465 ft above sea level its the highest brewery in England. We started up in 1994 under the name Princetown Brewery in a shed behind the Prince of Wales pub. Our flagship beer, Jail Ale, quickly became famous and remains our best selling beer to this day. In 2005, the brewery moved to a purpose built brewery on the site of the old Princetown Railway Station. It then became Dartmoor Brewery.
