Key Information
Brand Story
Southwold Jack, the guardian of our brewery, is also the striking icon for our distinctive English bitter. He is based on an original 'Clock Jack' from St. Edmund's Church, just across the green. Southwold Bitter is brewed with local barley from Holkham in North Norfolk and receives a late dose of Fuggles, which were first sold commercially in 1871, the year before Adnams was founded.
