After being triple distilled, Captain Morgan is matured in charred American oak barrels that help to create its distinctive dark qualities, rich layers of flavour and harmonious blend of clove and caramel notes.

First released in 1944, Captain Morgan Rum began life in Puerto Rico when the Seagram Company set up the Captain Morgan Rum Company. Named after the 17th Century British privateer of the Caribbean, Sir Henry Morgan, Captain Morgan has become a recognised name worldwide when it comes to rum.
