The Chivas journey began on an idyllic farm in the rural Scottish Highlands. Our founders John and James Chivas were born as two of eleven children, and their ambitions were as big as their family. While proud of their roots, the brothers knew they wanted more. They radically moved to the city of Aberdeen - a tough, three day venture by foot - with the desire to create something bigger.
