A highly drinkable, light golden coloured beer with a unique blend of English and Australian hops that combine to create a superb spicy apple and citrus fruit flavour, finished off with a crisp, refreshing aftertaste and subtle hop aroma.
Situated in Princetown in the heart of Dartmoor, at 1465 ft above sea level its the highest brewery in England. We started up in 1994 under the name Princetown Brewery in a shed behind the Prince of Wales pub. Our flagship beer, Jail Ale, quickly became famous and remains our best selling beer to this day. In 2005, the brewery moved to a purpose built brewery on the site of the old Princetown Railway Station. It then became Dartmoor Brewery.
