Brand Story
Del Monte originated in 1886 when a Californian food distributor developed a premium branded coffee for the famous Hotel Del Monte in Monterey, California. By 1892 the food business had expanded and the Del Monte brand appeared on its first can of peaches. By 1909 it had developed its well known Del Monte shield and since then Del Monte has developed its growing, producing and packing of fruit products across the world.
