Thousands of Pigeons (Paloma in Spanish) cross our vineyard in October and November on their down from the Pyrenees to south of Spain and north of Africa to spend the winter, looking for warmer temperatures. Palomeras is the structure built for hunting them in the old days, now used for birdwatching.
