Zepis Kreol draws it's character from oak and local Seychelles spices. A blend of pot and column distilled molasses rum, macerated with locally grown natural spices before being pressed with ex-merlot wood. A true depth of flavour with rich oak character complimented by local cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and quatre epices with a just a hint of island sweetness. No added colour or artificial flavouring, bottled non-chill filtered at 43%.
In 2001, inspired by their grandpappy's original recipe, Richard and Bernard d'Offay created their first rum in the Seychelles. Harnessing the rich bounty of their island home, they created something that just wouldn't be the same made anywhere else. Takamaka is not just made in but made from the Seychelles. From the water of Eden, and Mother Nature's sugarcane, right through to the Creole culture of its people.
